The ship continues north through the fjords. The seas and winds are calm. The skies are overcast, the clouds hang low.
The terrain is greener than yesterday, and one feels less isolated with increasing signs of human habitation. We are in the Aysen region, known for its salmon farms.
A fellow traveller and I were chatting on deck this morning as the ship made a tight turn. He offered that developing the equations that define the shape of the bow wave rolling away from the ship during a turn would be a neat math/physics problem.
