Singapore Nights

 Following our nap, Eve and I take the metro to the Bayfront Station. We alight and set off to Gardens by the Bay. 

The Supertrees loom into view. We must find a good spot to see tonight’s light show!

We wander through the gardens, admiring the plants and sculptures. 

As dusk approaches, we find a good seat to catch the light show. 

An impressive 15 minute spectacle. The Marina Bay Sands provides the backdrop. 

At the show’s conclusion, we walk through the illuminated grove towards the hotel. 

Moving with the crowd, we pass through the hotel into a large mall. Continuing further, we come out on the open event plaza, where we find a seat for the second light show of the night. 

The Singapore night skyline will be the backdrop for this show. We struggle to think of apt comparisons. 

A laser/water/music spectacle unfolds before our senses for the next 15 minutes. We all try to capture it with our devices. 

And I mean all!

The show ends. The crowd thins out. We take a last long look at the skyline before heading to the metro station for the trip back to the harbor. 

It has been an event filled day.
