Two more sea days until Easter Island. I am halfway through “War and Peace”. Evelyn and I swam some, and did our rounds on the ship’s deck. The evening holds promise; we will have a barbecue on the upper deck, if the weather holds.
And it did. The grilled meats were delicious. The cold side dishes as well.
We filled our plates and joined Dessau and two other pairs at a table. The conversation flowed.
Meanwhile, the party department had fitted out the ship’s stern for the “Artania Music Club” event. The US flag was a prominent feature of the deco, for no reason that I could fathom, other than it is a cool deco element.
The DJ played music as the guests slowly showed up. At 10pm, the action got under way.
A handful of talented crew members took turns playing guitar, drums, and singing popular hits.
Another memorable sea day!
