Mindelo

 


Mindelo is a small (80,000 inhabitants) town still developing a tourist industry that was non-existent 15 years ago. A bit off the beaten track, the town center is an easy walk from the harbor. It being a holiday, things were pretty quiet this morning as Eve and I wandered the streets and alleys. 



After lunch, we went for a swim at the local beach. 



Not a bad way to start 2025.
