A little after 6 am I head aft to get the morning coffee. The air temperature is a balmy 26 degrees, but it is very comfortable. A steady breeze is blowing across the ship‘s stern.
Walkers are making their rounds on the promenade deck. It is a lovely, quiet time of the day.
We are currently cruising through the Sulu Sea, on route to Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia. This will be the first of two stops on the island of Borneo. Our second stop will be in Brunei, a small, very wealthy independent kingdom.
We have no big plans for the day. Reading, writing, and maybe playing cards. The rhythm of our life is pretty steady.
